Role Description: The Lumin-ator role is designed to be a young adult ambassador role for the Lumin-us brand. Lumin-ators will create content, engage with followers, increase reach of the brand mission, and encourage community among followers. A Lumin-ator is authentic, engaging, positive, creative, welcoming and an ambassador for mental wealth. As a Lumin-ator you will get valuable volunteer experience working with a start-up non-profit, as well as experience storytelling on social media spreading positivity among your peers.

Purpose: The Lumin-ator is the foundation of our first phase of Lumin-us. You will help us build a community of supportive, uplifting, and positive young adults. Through sharing your authentic stories, you will encourage others to share theirs, and help make someone feel a little less alone in a safe, uplifting community.

Responsibilities:

Create at least one piece of content per week for Lumin-us to post on social channels
Comment on all Lumin-us posts (we would love for you to reply to comments as well!)
Promote Lumin-us content on your social media and among your friends
Find ways to creatively encourage community on Lumin-us accounts
Optional - Create your own Lumin-us avenues of connection which may include campus chapters, book clubs, coffee chats, or other misc. activities based on your passions and interests

Resources will be made available to you, including:

Example social media posts
Brand styling guide (colors, fonts, logos, etc.)
TikTok and Instagram tutorials
Content ideas
Video prompts
Hashtag recommendations

Compensation: Currently the Lumin-ator role is a volunteer position. As a Lumin-ator, you will help us grow our non-profit and spread our message of positivity and authenticity. You will gain valuable experience building social media content and growing a community. As a thank you, we will offer Lumin-us goodies to promote the brand including:

A Lumin-us branded t-shirt, water bottle, and tote bag
Access to premium Lumin-us content (to be developed)
